Girls
Night Out 2007- Exec's in the City
A
hugely successful Girls Night Out 2007, "Exec's
in the City" was held in November at Racebrook
Country Club in Orange with thanks to the generosity
of our major sponsor - Milford
Bank. The event was chaired
by Michele Kelly of Graphicways Design.
Over forty vendors had tabletop displays at the event
. Besides being a great event for shopping and networking,
there was lots of fun to be had. There was a fashion
show presented by CAbi,
a silent auction, wine tasting, raffle and our popular "Execs
in the City" themed purse
raffle. There was also a wonderful assortment
of delicious food and desserts. Brian Smith of WICC was
our special guest emcee. In all over 200 people attended
this gala event and we raised almost $10,000.
Don't miss this year's event. The date
has already been set for November 6th, 2008.

To Date! |
By
2005, Network's Girls Night Out evolved into such
a well-attended event that we moved to the larger
venue of Grassy
Hill Country Club! Schick® Intuition® was
our Corporate Sponsor; and the evening was hosted
by
Eric Greene of News
Channel 12. Event Chairperson
Sue Kasmin [pictured at right] presented
a fashion show with a twist: a mix of corporate
fashions from Dress
Barn interspersed with
fun fashions from Bridgeport
Harley Davidson! Fabulous food was provided by An
Affair to Remember,
along with countless donations of delectable finger
foods provided by local restaurants. Wine
tasting was presented by Wine & Liquor
Outlet of Orange. Entertainment was
provided by Ballroom Dancers Rosemary & Bill
Tierney and by Ben
Kelly of Creative
Health and Fitness. Dozens
of table tops provided information on local businesses. The
silent auction was great fun, as was the biggest
raffle ever! The result: 10
scholarships awarded to area women attending
10 different educational instutitions! |
